Thank you for all of your generous gifts. However, we are no longer accepting donations. We will continue to support Emily's school. Our goal is to work with the director of the Visual and Performing Arts Mike Caple and Superintendent Gary Maestas before he retires!
Emily played the violin and her favorite class was with Mr. Bryan Battles who teaches music at the Indian Brook Elementary School. She also loved art and I will post some of her amazing paintings. She also loved to write and thanks to Mrs. Nancy Loftus she received the "advanced" category on her MCAS exam in writing. We found this out after Emily passed. We couldn't have been prouder. We also discovered how Emily was a kind person to so many of her classmates. One girl even said she made the bullies stop. As a teacher, I cried because I teach my students "if you don't have anything more to say, don't say anything at all" and Emily may have rolled her eyes at me whenever I would bring this up, but she obviously internalized it. Our goal is to help aid her school in keeping all of these gifts continue for other children at Indian Brook.
